Yearbook Cover Contest ending soon!

The 9th Annual Yearbook Cover Contest artwork is due on November 2nd, 2pm! Please read below for details on how to have your child complete their entry.

Students: Use your imagination to design a yearbook cover that everyone will be talking about.  Draw a picture from your imagination of a scene that represents Sequoia Elementary School.   Use markers or colored pencils to express yourself.  Crayons do NOT work well.  Designs with misspelled words cannot be used, so please check your work carefully.  All work on your submission must be yours, the Sequoia Elementary student.  Be sure your name and teacher’s name is on the back of your submission, created on an 8 ½” x 11” (vertical layout) sheet of copy paper.  Show your school spirit by creating an exciting and memorable cover!

The yearbook committee will select the winning front cover, back cover, and six runners up (One from each grade: K through 5th). These 8 winning artwork designs will be published in our yearbook!

Please turn in your design to your Teacher or Office by November 2nd, 2:00p.m.  The front cover and back cover winners will receive a free yearbook. If you have any questions, please contact Deanna Gutridge at
