Boosterthon Fun Run

We are getting excited about our upcoming Fun Run! Working with our partners at Boosterthon, this two-week long fundraiser includes pep rallies, character development lessons, grade level “huddles,” a Wild West spirit day, and the Fun Run itself! Students will be asked to get pledges for the number of laps they run in order to raise money for important programs at Sequoia. And thanks to our sponsors, ALL students will receive a Fun Run T-shirt!

Check out this brief video overview:

Our Boosterthon program will officially kick off with pep assemblies on Tuesday, October 8. Online pledging will actually be available starting Tuesday, October 1.

1. Register your student(s) on FUNRUN.COM starting on 10/1.

2. Reach out to potential sponsors by sharing your pledge link!

3. All pledges and payments are made online.

Our Wild West spirit day will be on Friday, October 11.

The Fun Run itself will take place during school on Friday, October 18. Parents may come to watch and cheer on our students during the run; observers do not need to be fingerprinted.  However, if parents are doing anything to help conduct the event (volunteers), they need to be fingerprinted and cleared with the district.

Here are the times that the various grades will be running their laps on 10/18:

    • 3rd/4th/5th Grades: 8:30-9:30am
    • K/1st/2nd Grades: 10:10-11:10am

If you have any questions or would like to volunteer to help, please contact Amy Hatlen.

We would love to send a HUGE thank you to our event sponsors, who have made it possible for us to provide Fun Run T-shirts for every child at Sequoia:
